Letter From Building Committee
06/28/2008

With the recent convention decision to proceed immediately with the building of the new Academic Center on the campus of Immanuel College, the ILC Building Committee is asking for your help.

Within the next few weeks we plan to finalize detailed construction plans and to begin the bidding process. We are always looking for ways to save the Synod money, which is where you might be able to help. We are looking for help in three areas:

First, we are looking for CLC members that might be in a position to offer us discounts (through the companies you own or work for) on the materials needed for this project. Obviously donations save us the most money, but we can also realize substantial savings if we can buy materials at wholesale or cost through your company. If you are in a position to do so, or if you know of someone else you could suggest as a contact, please pass that information on to the ILC Building Committee as soon as possible.

Second, if you own or work for a company that would like a chance to bid on any aspect of this construction project, please also let us know.

Third, we would also appreciate any leads on interior furnishings (desks, lockers, lab equipment, cabinets, etc.) that might be available at something less than retail. Obviously we would need the materials to be in new or like new condition.

Thanks in advance for your help,

The ILC Building Committee
